The Hospitality Manager will be responsible for business success, developing teams, and providing the best customer service down to the last detail. The individual will be expected to perform all of the tasks and activities associated with managing Tree House’s Hospitality environment, leading personnel and operations in their respective facility, which includes an expansive taproom, extensive retail and merchandise space, beer-to-go operation, and our exceptional culinary program. This must be an individual who has initiative, can get up to speed on our culture and processes quickly, takes pride in minor details, and understands their impact within the Tree House ecosystem.
Schedule/Availability: This is a full-time role that may require travel to our other locations. Nights, weekends, holidays and any days with operational significance (events, concerts, etc.) are expected to be worked by the General Manager. Flexibility with general availability is necessary to satisfy the 7 day per week/363 day a year operations.

Below are a few of what we refer to as “active management” responsibilities we expect of our managers:
- Actively seeking to increase same store sales for your taproom operations and continuously identifying creative ways to drive new foot traffic on a year round basis
- Keen awareness of your taproom’s P&L, COGs, and labor versus sales metrics
- Using data analytics to identity areas of opportunity to drive new revenue streams
- Tapping into customer trends and guest insights to further develop thoughtful and meaningful guest experiences
- Implements effective ways to monitor and evaluate customer concerns, issues, and satisfaction and to anticipate customer needs.
- Management and daily operational oversight of taproom, beer-to-go outpost and general facilities of the property, whilst also overseeing some elements of the culinary operations with respect to the impact those service units have on the overall operations of the Saratoga Springs property.
- Ensuring the online store is displaying accurate inventory and new releases accordingly, coordinating with Inventory Control and Logistics.
- Striving towards the goal of uncompromising guest service for each and every guest who walks through our doors.
- Motivating and inspiring your team to consistently deliver the highest standards of care to the guest experience in each and every interaction they encounter with a guest.
- Management and daily oversight of 3 assistant managers, and a 45-50 person retail team, consisting of retail staff, bar leads, team trainers and retail assistants.
- Assisting in hiring, onboarding, training & development of staff
- Promoting the constant evolution of professional development of direct reports, coordinating with the HR team to schedule periodic training as needed.
- Evaluate, adjust and improve training systems, to encourage superior product knowledge and salesmanship.
- Safety of the facility, the team members working within it and our guests. Being mindful of safety risks operationally, safety with respect to guest interactions and alcohol consumption.
- Actively identify areas for operational improvement and use effective communication and professional tact when promoting those ideas to leadership.

Role Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on management experience in the hospitality industry
- Associate or bachelor's degree (preferred) in hospitality, hospitality management, business administration or any other relevant field.
- Strong business acumen - policy and protocol adherence, product knowledge, labor costs, and overall operational know-how.

- Physical and Schedule Requirements - this is a hands-on job. Our managers do the work! This requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, push, pull, bend, and lift in excess of 50 lbs. as necessary. This role requires the ability to work early, long hours with flexibility and the ability to work beyond normal working hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary to ensure product delivery.
The starting base salary range for this position is $75,000-80,000 annually. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Base salary is only one component of the total compensation package, as this role is eligible for participation in the company growth bonus program and a robust benefit package.
